What was once a spit’n’sawdust old boozer down the Streatham High Road has been transformed into something much more alluring. Now owned by the team behind JAMM – The White Lion’s big brother up the road in Brixton – it’s been completely refurbished, kitted out with a kick-arse new soundsystem and given a 4am weekend license – but without the fancy décor, over-priced cocktails and cheesy music.
We have an all-new roster of regular and monthly DJ and band-led evening events, including The People's Republic of Disco's JUKE JOINT (our weekly Wednesday-nighter where the crowd control the human jukebox), POBODY'S NERFECT, DUB CHRONICLES & TOTAL NICENESS, ALABAMA 3 present OUTLAW, DIGITAL SOUL, ROCKAWAY BEACH and infamous south London party-starters THROB who take care of business each and every Friday.
